"Liminal" Original Acrylic on canvas. An 'in between worlds' piece exploring the space where the physical world informs our inner landscape.

There is something about the flow state that allows for representational and abstract forms to sit side by side and I'm finding myself moving between the physical and inner landscape as I continue to explore in paint.

This beautiful scene of the Pines behind the house is a familiar view that has slowly moved away from a scene with trees and paddocks into an internal conversation of sorts. I keep pushing myself to feel more each time I paint this scene and to explore more within.
