'Fox in socks' painted in 2013, this little piece was a nod to my South African heritage and my slight rebellious nature and not fitting in, and setting forth on your own path. The Bat-eared fox is also called Cape Fox or Big-eared Fox, belonging to the dog family and found in open, arid areas of eastern and southern Africa.
