This piece unfolded over time, through a process of building, scraping back, and reworking the surface. What remains is not a fixed image, but a record of what has been — where traces are held, obscured, and quietly present.
Time has long been a thread in my work. Where it was once depicted, it now exists within the surface itself — layered, altered, and felt rather than seen.
