Strange Lands describes a sensation that we experience when we view a new environment. Years ago I was part of a three month sailing crew sailing from the bottom of Africa through the straight of Gibraltar, and for me it was an overwhelming sensation to discover so many new landscapes from the water looking towards the coastline. A memory that will always stay with me.
