An old Japanese proverb says 'Do not speak bad of yourself. For the warrior within hears your words and is lessened by them.” The warrior spirit that lives within us all can be crushed through negative self talk. As a thinking introvert I spend alot of time in my head and sometimes my inner dialogue can become negative. When I think of my warrior spirit I don't wish to lessen it. She gives me reason to turn my thoughts more positive.
