Gathering Memories
What remains of a life once the moments have passed?
Here, houses are collected as fragments of a life lived. Reduced to quiet, simplified shapes, they hold the weight of time and the traces of experiences gathered along the way.
Joy and sorrow, beginnings and endings, the ordinary moments that become precious with distance. A life accumulates in this way, not as a single story, but as a collection of memories, carried long after the places themselves have been left behind.
Perhaps what remains is not where we've been, but what we've gathered along the way.
Medium: Acrylic on plywood in a custom tray frame, handpainted in chalk paint - colour oatmeal.
Dimensions: H410mm x W330mm
