• Delivery: Portraits are painted in the order slots are booked and shipped as they're completed, with every order dispatched to arrive before Christmas. Free tracked shipping within New Zealand, or pick-up from my studio in Tīrau.

Portfolio & Commission Style Note

The example images shown in the gallery highlight a range of pet portraits and studies created over the years. For this specific 200 x 200 mm Christmas release, each piece will feature a single pet subject set against a subtle, layered background in your chosen colour tone.

How It Works

• Buy your slot. Add the listing to your cart and check out to secure your place on my studio calendar.
• Send your photos. Email 2 to 3 clear photos of your pet to info@santie.nz, or reply to your order confirmation. Natural daylight, no flash, at eye level, with at least one close-up of the face.
• Choose your background colour. Tell me your preference, for example soft sage green, dusty pink, duck-egg blue, warm terracotta or a quiet neutral. I'll layer a gentle, textured tone to suit your pet. If you wish for me to choose a colour, let me know.
• Painting. I'll check your photos within a couple of days. If one won't work, I'll let you know and you can send another. Once your photos and colour are confirmed, I'll begin.
• Finished and on its way. I'll send you a photo of the finished portrait, then box it up and post it, or let you know it's ready for pick-up. Everything is completed by early December.

Please Note
Portraits are created in my painterly style and with artistic vision. To keep every portrait on schedule for Christmas, I don't send work-in-progress photos. Because each portrait is made specifically for you, purchases are non-refundable once I've confirmed your photos and colour and begun painting.
