A Sunday Soiree | The Art Shed Napier
Santie Cronje
Fresh off the easel, A Sunday Soirée is currently curing and soon available at The Art Shed Napier. Contact Paula Sugden for more information.
Inspired in part by the treasured friendships I've made since my early years in New Zealand, this painting celebrates the gatherings that become part of life's fabric. Familiar faces, shared platters, laughter and unhurried afternoons remind us how much these connections add to our lives.A colourful cluster of houses sharing a story of long-standing friendship and the many ways it enriches our lives.
Elongated trees and a warm, enclosing landscape create a playful architectural world. There's a sense of late afternoon light, open doors and friends coming together for a long Sunday lunch, where conversation lingers and time seems to slow.
